It's December Holy Crap!

I can hardly believe that it is the 2nd week of December already. My first semester of anesthesia school has come and gone. I took my Patho. final exam today, and I have 2 more tests next week before the courses are officially done, but it's over.
I went to the college early today to do some studying, and because a guy from my ward was interviewing for next years class. It was such an erie feeling to see those people sitting in their seats exactly the same way I was one year ago almost to the day. It was just another reminder of how fast time is flying by.
Winter has come to western PA. We has about 6 inches of snow yesterday, and in the morning the temp. was 7 degrees. I don't know what that is in metric, but it is still really cold. While driving in to Pittsburgh I saw 3 "black ice" accidents within a 2 mile area. People were driving like it was the 4th of July as far as the weather goes. I am not too worried about my old truck, but I still need it for a couple of more years. I would rather that it not have anymore dents in it.
I start full-time clinicals in 1 week. I am getting a large number of really good surgical cases over in Butler. The OR staff has been treating me really well. Some of the other students have told some horror stories about their experiences.
I am going to request to do rotations at some of the remote locations next year. There are opportunities to go to Topeka, Seattle, Lansing, and Central PA. Sounds like fun to me!
63 down 487 to go!!
